Testing for Intelligence? A lot of things have change in the way students are being evaluated as to measuring their intelligence, since my grade school days.  This topic has been an on-going debate for many years, there are many assessment resources and tools available in regards of assessing children's intelligence.  Standardized testing, IQ testing, indirect and direct assessments,  and many more are just a few of the assessing tools.  But are these testing tools really measuring the student as holistically as possible? The student social and emotional stability and health and nutrient needs are being meant.  I am split in the middle of this education topic.  As an educator I believe the teacher need to evaluate their student's prior knowledge to better decide the approach and teaching strategies to prepare the lesson plans to match their educational needs.  The approach and the tools is what is important to me, Some of these standardized testing a...
